1. Overview

Y202-R is the dual-port Ethernet model in the Yengear standard DTU family. It integrates two independent serial channels, each configurable as RS232 or RS485, together with a 10/100Base-T Ethernet uplink. Each serial channel maps to Socket A and B, enabling concurrent TCP, UDP, HTTP, or MQTT data paths as well as Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP conversion.

It is designed for control cabinets that require reliable IP access to PLCs, meters, protection relays, and other legacy serial devices without changing field wiring.
