1. Overview

The Y401-11-L is a point-to-point wireless switch transmission terminal based on LoRa modulation technology, designed to replace traditional wired switches. This device enables bidirectional communication between two units without configuration, programming, or wiring requirements.

Product Configuration

  • Pair-based operation: Each set includes Device A and Device B for mutual control
  • Master-slave free: Both devices can transmit and receive signals
  • Plug-and-play: No configuration or programming required
  • Zero operating costs: No subscription or service fees

Working Principle

When Device A's input terminal is shorted with the common terminal, the signal is transmitted to Device B, causing Device B's output common terminal and normally open terminal to conduct. When Device A's input and common terminals are disconnected, Device B's output common terminal and normally closed terminal conduct. The same operation works in reverse from Device B to Device A.

7. Installation & Wiring

7.1 Input Connection

For mechanical switches (self-locking switches, float switches, relay outputs):

  • Connect directly to device input terminals without any voltage

For NPN signals:

  • Connect NPN emitter to common terminal
  • Connect NPN collector to input terminal
  • Do not connect NPN signals to other power sources

7.2 Output Connection

For direct load control (up to 1kW resistive loads):

  • Connect load directly in series with the device

For high-power applications (above 1kW):

  • Use AC contactors for power switching
  • Refer to wiring diagrams for proper connection

7.3 Installation Guidelines

  1. Install antennas in open areas, vertically positioned ~2 meters above ground
  2. Keep antennas away from large metal equipment
  3. Ensure antenna connectors are tightly secured
  4. Mount devices on 35mm DIN rails in electrical cabinets
  5. Maintain proper clearance for ventilation and wiring

8. Important Notes

  1. Communication Type – This is a half-duplex communication device. Not suitable for applications requiring high real-time performance in complex environments.
  2. Frequency Range – Product operates at 398~525MHz. Performance may be affected outside this range.
  3. Antenna Installation – Ensure tight antenna connections, place antennas in open areas, position vertically ~2 meters high, and keep away from large metal equipment.
