1. Overview

The Y402-4411-L is a one-to-many wireless I/O system based on LoRa modulation with a 1-to-4 channel mapping design. It consists of a 1DI/1DO master unit and a 4DI/4DO slave unit. One master input can drive four slave outputs simultaneously, making it suitable for single-point triggering and multi-point response.

Y402-4411-L operation diagram

Operating Logic

  • Master to slave: when the master DI is closed, all four DO channels on every slave unit energize at the same time
  • Slave to master: when any DI on any slave unit is closed, the master DO energizes
  • The master output resets only after all DI channels on all slave units return to open
  • Supports bidirectional transmission with 1-to-4 channel mapping

7. Installation and Wiring

Input Wiring

Mechanical switches (maintained switch, float switch, relay contact):

  • Connect directly between DI and COM
  • No external power supply is required

NPN signal:

  • Emitter -> COM
  • Collector -> DI
  • Do not connect an external voltage source to the input terminal

Output Wiring

Direct load (<= 1 kW resistive load):

  • Wire the load in series with the relay output

High-power load (> 1 kW):

  • Use an AC contactor or external power relay

Installation Notes

  1. Install the antenna vertically in an open area, about 2 m above ground.
  2. Keep the unit away from large metal structures.
  3. Tighten the antenna connector securely.
  4. Mount the unit inside the control cabinet on a 35 mm DIN rail.
  5. Place the master near the center of the coverage area whenever possible.
  6. Leave enough space for ventilation.

System Expansion

To add a new slave unit:

  1. Power on the new slave.
  2. Pair it using the pairing button.
  3. The system will recognize and add the device automatically.

8. Important Notes

  1. Communication mode - Half-duplex communication, not intended for hard real-time control.
  2. Frequency range - Recommended operating range is 398 to 525 MHz. Performance may degrade outside this range.
  3. Antenna placement - Install the antenna vertically in an open area and keep it away from metal obstructions.
  4. Master/slave topology - Only one master unit is allowed in each system, while multiple slave units are supported.
  5. 1-to-4 mapping - This model is optimized for single-point trigger and multi-point response in distributed control systems.
