1. Overview
The Y402-44-L is a one-to-many wireless switch transmission system composed of two types of modules: Master Y402-44-L-M and Slave Y402-44-L-S. Based on LoRa modulation technology, this system enables remote transmission of digital signals between one master device and multiple slave devices. Both master and slave devices feature 4-channel inputs and outputs, supporting one-to-many and many-to-one communication scenarios.

Working Principle
Master to Slave Transmission: When the master device collects switch signals from any of its 4 inputs, it transmits wirelessly to all slave devices in the system, causing their corresponding relay outputs to change accordingly.
Slave to Master Transmission: When one or more slave devices have their inputs shorted, the master device's corresponding output status changes, enabling slave-to-master signal transmission.

7. Pairing Configuration
7.1 Factory Default
- Master and slave devices are pre-paired at the factory
- No configuration required for basic operation
- One master and one slave work out of the box
7.2 Adding Additional Slaves
When adding more slaves to the system:
- Purchase additional slave devices (Y402-44-L-S)
- Electrical connection: Connect 2 power wires and 3 communication wires
- Power supply: Apply 9~36V DC power to both master and slave
- Auto-configuration: Wait approximately 20 seconds for pairing
- Verification: Connection LEDs on both devices should be constantly lit
- Disconnect: Remove the 3 communication wires after successful pairing
Troubleshooting: If connection LEDs don't light within 30 seconds, power off, check wiring, and retry.
8. Installation & Wiring
8.1 Input Connection
For mechanical switches (self-locking switches, float switches, relay outputs):
- Connect directly to device input terminals without any voltage
For NPN signals:
- Connect NPN emitter to common terminal
- Connect NPN collector to input terminal
- Do not connect NPN signals to other power sources
For active signals:
- Use intermediate relays to convert active signals to passive signals
- Then connect to device input terminals
8.2 Output Connection
For direct load control (up to 1kW resistive loads per channel):
- Connect load directly in series with the device
For high-power applications (above 1kW):
- Use AC contactors for power switching
- Refer to wiring diagrams for proper connection
8.3 Installation Guidelines
- Install antennas in open areas, vertically positioned ~2 meters above ground
- Keep antennas away from large metal equipment
- Ensure antenna connectors are tightly secured
- Use only the provided antennas for optimal performance
- Mount devices on 35mm DIN rails or use screw mounting in electrical cabinets
- Maintain proper clearance for ventilation and wiring
9. Important Notes
- Communication Type – This is a half-duplex communication device. Not suitable for applications requiring high real-time performance in complex environments.
- Frequency Range – Product operates at 398~525MHz. Use only provided antennas for optimal performance.
- Antenna Installation – Ensure tight antenna connections, place antennas in open areas, position vertically ~2 meters high, and keep away from large metal equipment.
- System Expansion – Additional slaves can be added to expand the system as needed.
- Device Safety – Follow all instructions in the manual for proper setup and operation.
- Power Requirements – Use proper voltage range (9~36V DC). Low voltage may prevent startup; high voltage may damage the device.
