The Y501/Y502 series are RS485 Modbus-RTU smart circuit breakers for AC 50/60Hz, 230V low-voltage distribution systems.

5.2 Wiring Guidance

  • Use conductors rated for the breaker's current capacity
  • Use shielded twisted pair for RS485; add 120Ω termination at bus ends
  • Keep communication wires away from power cables
  • Ensure proper grounding

6.2 Installation

7. Functions

7.1 Remote Control

  • Close: Via Modbus coil or holding register write
  • Open: Via Modbus coil or holding register write
  • Broadcast Control: Address 0 controls all devices simultaneously (no response)

7.2 Interlock Function

  • When locked, close commands are ignored
  • When unlocked, normal closing is allowed
  • Lock status readable via Modbus
