1. Overview

The Y301-440/444 family provides Modbus-RTU serial I/O expansion in two enclosure sizes:

3. Key Features

  1. High-Power Relays – Four SPDT contacts per model rated AC 277V/10A or DC 28V/10A.
  2. Opto-Isolated DI – Four dry/wet channels with pulse counting and configurable debounce.
  3. Analog Inputs (Y301-444) – Four channels selectable per channel as 0–10V or 4–20 mA, 16-bit resolution, ±1% FS accuracy.
  4. Embedded Automation – Up to 8 linkage rules (2 per DO) covering follow, pulse, delay, schedule, logic, and AI threshold modes.
  5. Retention & Addressing – DO state hold (none/soft/full) plus 5-bit DIP offset stacked on the software Modbus address.
  6. Industrial Design – 5~36V DC input, -40°C~85°C ambient, hardware watchdog, reload button, surge-protected ports.

5.2 Wiring Guidance

  • Use 22–16 AWG power leads with an upstream 2 A fuse.
  • Dry DI: COM+ to DI through switch/relay. Wet DI: external 5–36V referenced to COM-.
  • DO: add RC snubbers (AC) or flyback diodes (DC) for inductive loads.
  • AI (Y301-444): connect either V+ (voltage) or I+ (current) per channel—never both simultaneously.
  • RS485: shielded twisted pair, 120 Ω termination at both ends with a shared reference ground.
