1. Overview
Y202-R is the dual-port member of the Yanji standard DTU family. It embeds two independent serial channels (RS232 or RS485 selectable per port) plus a 10/100 M Ethernet uplink for control cabinets that require redundant PLC, meter, or protection relays over TCP/IP. Each serial channel is paired with Socket A/B contexts, enabling simultaneous TCP/UDP/HTTP/MQTT data paths or Modbus RTU ↔ TCP conversion without touching legacy wiring.

| Power | 9–36 V DC terminal, DC barrel input optional |
| Installation | DIN-rail carrier with removable terminal block |
Positioning Highlights
- Retains two independent serial buses while giving each bus two sockets for concurrent SCADA + cloud access.
- Industrial-grade EMC (IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4) and 9–36 V supply survive substation and HVAC cabinets.
- Built-in browser console (default
192.168.10.8, admin/admin) removes the need for PC utilities. - Firmware parity with MiniLink series—registration packets, NET/UART heartbeats, HTTP OTA, remote AT channel.

3. Key Features
- Dual Independent Serial Buses – Each UART links to two sockets (A/B), supporting TCP/UDP server/client, HTTP client (GET/POST/AUTO), MQTT client, and Modbus gateway simultaneously.
- Carrier-Grade Networking – 10/100 M auto MDI/MDIX, static/DHCP selection, built-in DNS management, keepalive, and no-data reboot policies.
- Industrial Electrical Design – 9–36 V input with reverse-polarity guard, EFT/ESD surge suppression, dual watchdog (hardware + firmware) to prevent lockups.
- Browser & AT Provisioning – Embedded web console (Status/System/Port tabs) plus extensive AT command set accessible via serial or LAN broadcast discovery.
- Edge Automation Hooks – Programmable registration packets (FIRST/EVERY/ALL), NET/UART heartbeats, offline cache, JSON uploader, and Aliyun-friendly MQTT templates.
- Maintenance-Friendly – HTTP OTA downloads, USB DFU, parameter backup/restore commands (
AT+BKCFG,AT+RSTCFG), and Reload push-button for field resets.

| Weight | ≈180 g |
| Enclosure | Metal chassis with powder coating, UL94 V-0 insulation liners |
| Mounting | 35 mm DIN-rail shoe + optional wall-mount ears |
Installation guidelines:
- Keep ≥15 mm clearance around the case for airflow and RJ45 bend radius.
- Bond the DIN rail to protective earth when RS485 runs exceed 30 m.
- Use shielded twisted pair for RS485, terminate 120 Ω at bus ends, and keep drop cables <1 m.
7. Application Notes
- Dual-Bus SCADA Retrofit – Map COM1 Socket A to TCP Server for SCADA polling, COM1 Socket B to MQTT for cloud dashboards, while COM2 handles a separate PLC line via Modbus gateway.
- Redundant Control Rooms – Configure Socket A as TCP Client to control room A, Socket B as UDP Client to control room B. Heartbeats alert each center if the other loses connectivity.
- HVAC / Power Panels – Use registration packets (MAC or custom ID) so upstream platforms can automatically index multiple Y202-R units upon connection.
For detailed workflows, AT command references, and troubleshooting checklists, see the Y202-R Technical Manual.
