1. Overview
Y208-R is Yanji’s highest-density Ethernet DTU, integrating eight independent serial channels that can each operate as RS232 or RS485. Dual RJ45 uplinks (LAN1/LAN2) provide redundant IP paths or split networks, while per-port Socket A/B contexts support simultaneous TCP/UDP/HTTP/MQTT sessions. The platform inherits the same firmware stack as Y202-R/Y204-R, enabling Modbus RTU ↔ TCP conversion, JSON uploaders, heartbeats, and browser management for large power grids, factory cells, or environmental telemetry clusters.
