1. Overview

Y301-220/222 are high-power serial I/O expansion modules that combine optically-isolated digital inputs, 10A relay outputs, and (for Y301-222) dual analog inputs supporting 0–10V or 4–20mA sensing. Both models speak Modbus-RTU over RS485/RS232/TTL and integrate easily into PLCs, SCADA systems, or remote telemetry panels.

5.2 Wiring Notes

  • Power: Use 22–18 AWG wires, add a 1A fuse near the source.
  • DI Dry Mode: Bridge COM+ to DI through a switch; module sources ~12V.
  • DI Wet Mode: Feed external 5–36V signal referenced to COM-.
  • DO: Use snubbers (AC) or flyback diodes (DC) for inductive loads.
  • AI: Select either V+ or I+ per channel; never connect both simultaneously.
  • RS485: Shielded twisted pair, 120Ω termination at both bus ends.
