Using MQTT
This content support products:
MQTT is a lightweight messaging protocol that follows a publish/subscribe model. It uses TCP/IP for network connectivity and offers efficient message transmission with minimal overhead by filtering payload content. This significantly reduces network traffic.
The MQTT functionality in DTU devices operates in a quasi-transparent mode. Once connected to a server, the DTU automatically subscribes to predefined topics and sets up a topic for publishing. The DTU handles MQTT subscriptions and publications internally, allowing user end devices to focus solely on receiving and sending message content.
MQTT provides a wide array of configurable parameters to meet diverse user needs.
