Mini DTU (Y201)
The product is equipped with RS232 and RS485 interfaces, only one of which can be enabled at a time (RS485 is enabled by default). To ensure the uniformity of our AT commands, all AT commands related to serial port and Socket functions include the corresponding serial port number.

Two Working Modes:
AT Command Mode
Data received on the serial port is executed as commands, and data sent from the network is discarded. In command mode, parameters can be queried and set, and the device will revert to transparent mode after a restart.
Transparent Mode
Data received on the serial port is forwarded via Socket, which is the default mode when the device is powered on.
Users can send AT commands through serial communication with a computer or MCU to query and set the parameters of this product. Each command line can only contain one AT command, with a maximum length of 256 bytes per command.
Heartbeat & Registration
Heartbeat & registration packets are additional features of data transparent transmission, and each serial port can independently set the heartbeat packet function and registration packet function, which are disabled by default.
The heartbeat packet function is a keep-alive mechanism at the application layer, which can periodically send data to the network or serial port to facilitate users in verifying whether the device is working normally. Network heartbeat packets support TCP/UDP Client mode. Serial port heartbeat packets are not limited by network mode, and the heartbeat packet will pause sending when the device enters the AT command state.
The function of registration packets is that when the device communicates with the user server, the device actively sends some specific data, and the server can distinguish clients based on this. Registration packets support TCP/UDP Client and can be set to three sending methods:
- First-time sending: TCP Client reports after each successful connection; UDP Client reports only once after networking
- Data carrying: sent as the header and data simultaneously
- First-time sending + data carrying
